I tried to use the /PSCONTROL (/PSCONTROL,ON) apdl command in the hope of getting the issue solved but this didn´t work as well.ĭoes anyone of you has an idea how to solve this issue? Previously in ansys mechanical apdl, there is a scope to enter displacement as a function of coordinates of nodes. However, if I run the script from python, it does not! Now, the clue is, if I run the script from Ansys Classic directly via import file, it all works fine. Now, I´ve already read in some discussions that setting the product launcher to "Use Shared-Memory Parallel (SMP)" and I did that. The label STRAIN_E is of course the varibale I declared to be stored with SENE. Item SENE has not been stored in the database. APDL stands for A NSYS P arametric D esign L anguage. When calling the script from python the strain energy, I want to get with sene, is not callable and this error occurs in the file.err: This input file is a apdl command script. ![]() I am calling Ansys MAPDL.exe with an input file from Python. ![]()
